Asher Kenneth Clark

Asher Kenneth Clark, treasured son of Brittany Ann (Greene) and Andrew Warren Clark went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Asher was born on February 7, 2022 and fought valiantly and bravely for life for 31 days. He was feisty and always found a way to get his arms and legs out of his blankets. Asher experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hearing his mommy sing and read stories to him, and being told “I love you” an uncountable number of times. His grandparents, aunts, and cousins loved to watch him throughout the day and night on his online monitor and breathe his name and pray for him. Asher was baptized and was a perfect little boy who touched so many lives in such a short period of time. He will never be forgotten. Those left to cherish Asher’s memory include his loving parents, Andrew and Brittany Clark of Greenfield, his maternal grandparents, Ronald (Cynthia) Greene of Morristown, TN, Julie McCallister (Janet Murphy) of Greenfield, and Angela Catron (Shannon Wallen) of New Castle; paternal grandparents, Steve and Janet Clark of Albany, KY; his maternal great-grandparents, Bobbie Irene Greene of Morristown, TN and Angelina (Bud) Foster of Green Valley, AZ; aunts, Kelly (Forrest) Plank of New Castle, Heather (Dustyn) Miller of Anderson, and Abby (Mic) Okeley of New Castle, and many additional aunts, uncles, and cousins. Asher was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Kenneth Riley McCallister and Odell Grant Greene; his maternal great-grandmother, Irene Black; his paternal great-grandparents, Lowell and Aliene Clark and Virgil and Mary Cheek, and by an uncle, Nathaniel Ryan Greene. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
