Kialee Jade Maroney

Kialee Jade Maroney, two-month-old infant daughter of Shelly (Selanders) Maroney and Joseph Adkins, spread her wings and flew to Heaven on Monday evening April 9, 2007 at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 29, 2007 in Henry County Memorial Hospital. Kialee liked to play Peek-a- Boo when her mom would take her picture. She also enjoyed having her hair rubbed by her mother. Kialee and Sydney (another infant @ St. Vincent’s) were always competing for the attention of their nurses Miss Julia and Lynn. She is survived by her mother, Shelly (Selanders) Maroney (fiancé: Michael Abrell) of New Castle; her father, Joseph Adkins of Greensburg; sisters, Samantha and Jami and a brother, Jordon; three step-sisters, Makayla, Jasmin and Elise; her maternal grandparents JoAnn (husband: J.K.) Fausset of New Castle, Max Selanders of Lafollette, TN; paternal grandparents, Ginny Adkins (companion: Russell Browder) of Greensburg, Larry Adkins of Connersville; maternal great-grandparents, Lester and Marguerite Selanders of Bradford, OH and Betty Anderson of New Castle; aunts, Jennifer Selanders (fiancé: Charles Perkins) of Lafollette, TN, Lori (husband: Ryan) Stewart of Greenfield, Lindsey Powers of Greensburg, Shelby Haler of Greensburg; uncles , Byron Wogoman (fiancé: Shannon) of Hinton, IN, Jason (wife: Mindy) Wogoman of Indianapolis, and Jeff Massengale of New Castle; many cousins, great aunts and great uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother’s twin sister, aunt Sherry Selanders; maternal great-grandfather, Dean Kendall; great-grandparents, Carmella and Edward Root; great-grandmother, Aline Agnew and a great uncle, Harry Troutwine. Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Tilton officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Sproles Family Funeral Home. You may bring a Teddy Bear or stuffed animal to the funeral home in memory of Kialee.
