Alora Christine Lynn

Alora Christine Lynn, beloved seven-month-old daughter of Owen Patrick and Abigail Elizabeth (Schaper) Lynn unexpectedly flew into the warm embrace of Jesus early on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born at home on March 31, 2023, in Avon, Indiana, and immediately brought pure joy to her family. She loved her big sister, Kaynan, who could make her laugh better than anyone. Alora was a bit of a drama queen and would growl and make a big fuss about nothing, only to quickly move on once she received everyone’s attention. Alora was a cuddle bug who loved having her back scratched and her face rubbed as she fell asleep. In a word, Alora was precious and was just learning to crawl and stand up on her own. She loved her aunt “Mimi,” playing in the sandbox and leaves, seeing the baby chicks, and taking walks up and down the long drive with her “Pap Pap.” Alora will forever be cherished in the hearts of her parents, Owen and Abigail Lynn of Avon; her big sister, Kaynan Elizabeth Lynn; her grandparents, John and Betty Lynn of Avon, and Kyle and Mandy Schaper of Parsons, KS; her aunts and uncles, Jonathan (Yasmin) Lynn of Plainfield, Alyson Lynn of Indianapolis, Maylea Lynn of Avon, and Hailey (John) Gordon, Rachel Schaper (fiancé: Matheau Atwell), Ava, Isaiah, and Elijah Schaper all of Parsons, KS; her great grandparents, James and JoAnn Wilson of Clayton, Gay Francis Lynn of Martinsville, Albert and Della Schaper of Independence, KS, Elizabeth Colon of Parsons, KS, Russell and Kimberly Johnson of Olympia, WA, and her great-great grandmother, Patricia Holm of Olympia, WA. Those awaiting Alora’s arrival in Heaven were her great-grandfathers, Lowell Lynn Sr., and Steven Rhoads, and a cousin, Jason Higinbotham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Calvary Bible Wesleyan Church, 168 Lawndale Dr., Plainfield, Indiana, with Rev. Marc Dodrill officiating.
