Brenda A. Sharp

February 16, 1956 - February 8, 2022

Brenda A. Sharp, 65, of New Castle, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at IU Health Ball Hospital in Muncie. She was born on February 16, 1956, in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Wendell and Louise (Thompson) Shelley. For over 30 years, Brenda was a CNA and worked at Henry County Hospital. On August 24, 1982, Brenda married the love of her life, Stanly Sharp Sr. She loved flowers and flower gardening and her puppy, “Daisy”. Brenda attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church and was very caring and saw the good in everyone. She had a great sense of humor and loved to smile and laugh. Brenda also enjoyed fishing and most of all being with her family. Those left to cherish Brenda’s memory include her husband of almost 40 years, Stanley Sharp Sr; a son, Stanley Sharp Jr, and a daughter, Amy Beall (fiancé: Duane Albert). In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her two brothers, Hugh Shelley and Bobby Shelley. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Pastor Don Raines officiating. Cremation will follow.
