Charles R. "Chuck" Weddle

Charles R. “Chuck” Weddle, 67, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. He was born April 7, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Rev. Earl and Faye (Trimble) Weddle. Chuck was a truck driver for most of his life and the owner and operator of Weddle Trucking. He married the love of his life, Charlene Taylor, on September 18, 1970. Chuck loved restoring and showing old cars especially since he was able to spend time doing what he loved with his son, Bryant. Chuck was a member of the Burlington Bible Church. Those left to cherish Chuck’s memory include his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Charlene Weddle; a son, Bryant (Fiancé’: Dorothy) Weddle of Florence, KY; a daughter, Krystie Weddle of Erlanger, KY; two brothers, Jim Weddle of Kalispell, MT and David (wife: Renae) Weddle of Burlington, KY; a sister, Debbie (husband: Kenny) Rawlinson of Prattville, AL and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Glenda Weddle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Burlington Bible Church, 6529 Rogers Lane, Burlington, Kentucky, 41005 with Pastor Darrell Stetler officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 - 8 pm Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Sproles Family Funeral Home, New Castle, Indiana.
