Curtis Nantze

Curtis B. Nantze, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Thursday, May 2, 2019. He was born May 19, 1925 in Beulah, Arkansas, a son of the late H.B. and Ada (Beaty) Nantze. Curtis was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He worked for Carrier Corporation in Indianapolis for many years. He loved fishing, gardening, canning, and cooking. Of late, he enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine, having company and spending time with his friends. Those left to cherish Curtis’s memory include two sons, Mike (wife: Alicia) Nantze and Ronnie (wife: Beverly) Nantze; step-children, Della Crawford, Danny (wife: Theresa) Ealy, and MaDonnava Ealy, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Nantze; two children, Ronald Lee Nantze and Freida Nantze; a grandson, Paul Curtis Ealy, and a brother, Coy Nantze. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin, Indiana, with Pastor Danny Ealy officiating.
