Mary E. Nuebler, 73, of Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord on the morning of Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Westside Village in Indianapolis. She was born September 10, 1942 in Decatur, Illinois, a daughter of the late Ira and Eleanor (Nodurft) McAnelly. Mary was a 1960 graduate of Lakeview High School in Decatur, Illinois and a 2002 graduate of Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Science. She attended Hope Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Mary enjoyed playing piano and shopping. She is survived by her husband, George Nuebler; two sons, Anthony “Tony” (wife: Marcia) Eichel of New Castle and Timothy “Tim” Eichel of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Tiffany Eichel (friend: Steve McDonald) of Cumberland, MD; grandchildren, David Eichel, Nick Eichel, Zoey McDonald, Emma McDonald and Caylee McDonald and two sisters, Carol (husband: Bob) Wynn of McHenry, IL, and Rebecca Reagin of Greenfield and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Eichel and a sister in childhood, Sharon McAnelly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Hope Baptist Church, 1055 N. Girls School Road, Indianapolis, with Pastor Jerry Hillenburg officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:30 p.m. in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
