Nancy “Toodles” Edith Clevenger, 84, of Farmland, went home to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband, Jim Clevenger, on the morning of Monday, December 6, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1937, in Miami County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Robert Arnold and Lillian Martha (Surface) Richardson. Nancy attended Markleville High School and graduated in 1956. She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Clevenger, on June 2, 1956. Nancy enjoyed collecting figurine horses, watching the Cincinnati Reds and IU Basketball. She loved animals, especially her dogs and horses. Her kindness was abundant and it showed toward everyone. Nancy loved her church family at the Sparrow Creek Friends Church in Winchester where she has been a faithful member for many years. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, James Robert Clevenger and Linda Clevenger (Connie Oberlin); two grandchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Chalfant and Erin (Nick) Biddinger; four great-grandchildren, Josiah Biddinger, Ellie Chalfant, Gibson Chalfant and Colton Biddinger; special friend, Rose Wagner and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Turner and Pamela Richardson and her companion Labrador, Cindi. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Sparrow Creek Friends Church or the Farmland Volunteer Fire Department with envelopes available at the service. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sparrow Creek Friends Church 4030 W. 50 S. Winchester, IN with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Cemetery in Farmland. Friends may call from 11 – 1 pm prior to the service at the church. You may offer the family a personal condolence at www.sprolesfamilycares.com.
