Randall K. Canaday, 66, of New Castle passed away on the evening of Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on January 15, 1955 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late, Fred and Doris (Riley) Canaday. Randall attended Blue River High School and graduated in 1974. He married the love of his life, Sheila Riley on December 21, 1974. Randall worked for Indiana Auto Fasteners in Greenfield and retired early this year in March. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, spending time outside working in his yard and playing with his dog, Sarge. Most of all he loved quality time with his family. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sheila Canaday; children, Heather (husband: Justin) Hamilton of Sulphur Springs and Ryan (wife: April) Canaday of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Jared Hamilton, Katie Hamilton and Austin Canaday; siblings, Fred Thomas (wife: Kharel) Canaday of Franklin and Judi Brickert of Garland, TX; sisters-in-law, Sherry (husband: Roger) Adkins of Mooreland and Debbie (husband: Steve) Houser of Springport; brother-in-law, Mark Plunkett of Hagerstown and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Canaday and Donald Canaday and mother-in-law, Judy Riley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Summit Cemetery.
