William Junior Reagan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Junior Reagan, 81, of New Castle, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1930 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a son of the late William and Rhoda (Bell) Reagan. Junior was a 1949 graduate of New Castle High School. He worked at Wayne Works Corporation in Richmond retiring after 30 years. Following his retirement he drove a truck for Roberts Pipeline Construction. Junior served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of the Middletown American Legion and the New Castle Elks and Eagles Lodges. He loved racing and was an avid Jeff Gordon and A.J. Foyt fan. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn (Poer) Reagan; daughter-in-law, Sandra Reagan of Ocala, Florida; three grandsons, A.J., Mickey Jay and Bill Reagan all of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Eula (husband: Jay) Witham and Betty Lee both of New Castle; a sister-in-law, Wilma Reagan of New Castle; a special friend, Barbara (husband: Roger) Matthews of Middletown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mickey Jay Reagan on January 25, 2009 and a brother, Jesse Reagan. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Mound West Lawn Cemetery.
