Betty Lou Geise

Betty Lou Geise, 90, of New Castle, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Wednesday, December 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born on February 22, 1934, in Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lester and Theo (Allen) Lipp. Betty worked at Connersville Christian Academy and was a licensed Real Estate Agent for Lingle Real Estate and Mike Morgan and Associates. She also worked as a switchboard operator at Roche Biomedical Laboratories in Burlington, North Carolina. Betty was a wonderful homemaker and mom. She loved the Lord and spent much time in prayer and reading her Bible. Betty was always busy with church work and attending church camps. In recent years, she attended Muncie Bible Holiness Church. She enjoyed playing scrabble, sewing, quilting, working in her yard, and flower gardening. Most of all, Betty enjoyed spending time with her family. Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include three sons, Stephen A. (Janet) Geise of The Village of Monrovia, Guatemala, Central America, Raymond L. (Susan) Geise of New Castle, and Kurt W. (Stephanie) Geise of Nebraska; two daughters, Kendra D. (Leonard) McKenzie of Beaver City, Nebraska, and Lynette (Danny) Eppley of New Castle; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Geise of Graham, North Carolina; 33 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren with her 10th due in March. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Gale Stephen Geise, in 2009; a son, Timothy Preston Geise, in 2017; a grandson, Nathanael Thomas Geise, in 2023; a great-granddaughter, Sadie Marie Hessler, who was stillborn; a half-sister, Glenda Rose McCauley, and a half-brother, Irvin Eugene Wright. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Sproles Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Beaton and Rev. Paul Mann officiating.
