Clara Letta Boling

Clara Letta Boling, 99, of New Castle, went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning in her home. She was born February 21, 1912 in Eubanks, KY, a daughter of the late Steve and Molly (Tucker) Taylor. Clara lived for her family and after raising 13 children she used her nurturing skills with Foster Grandparents for 10 years volunteering in Pediatrics at Henry County Hospital. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She is survived by 10 children, Erma Jo (husband: Max) Hart of New Castle, Warren “Cecil” (wife: Deloris) Boling of Middletown, Gerald L. (wife: Sandy) Boling of New Castle, Eddie (wife: Karen) Boling and Larrel (wife: Wanda) Boling both of Middletown, Roger (wife: Suella) Boling of Somerset, KY, David (wife: Shirley) Boling, Steven Boling, Vickie (husband: Kevin) Chalfant and Sheila (husband: Ken) Key all of New Castle; 35 Grandchildren, Kim (Chuck) Casada of Cowan, Kevin (Kathy) Hart of Fishers, Scott Hart of New Castle, Anita Egan of Mt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lona C. Boling in 1964; three children, Richard, Lona Jr., and Johnny Boling; two grandsons, Steve Hart and Kelly Adkins; a granddaughter, Molly Arthur; two brothers, James and Virgil Taylor and a sister, Girtie Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Pastor Larrel Boling and the Revs Kevin Hart and Eric Boling officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
