Jada "Bada" Mullins

Jada “Bada” Mullins, 44, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Henry Community Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1981, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, a daughter of Kent and Deronda S. (Phipps) Evens. Jada was a 2000 graduate of Greencastle High School. Above all else, she devoted her life to her family. As a homemaker, she found great joy in raising her three boys and creating a loving home for them. She also enjoyed her work at CES–City Electric Supply in Mt. Comfort, where her hardworking nature was evident to those around her. Some of Jada’s favorite moments were the simple ones she shared with the people she loved. She enjoyed crocheting and playing Minecraft with her boys. She also loved climbing onto the back of Bryan’s Harley and riding alongside her husband and forever companion. For several years, Jada and Bryan were members of the Community Servants Riding Club of New Castle. Jada was loving, big-hearted, and fiercely devoted to those she cared about. Feisty, hardworking, and incredibly generous, she was always willing to help someone in need. She was also a straight shooter who spoke her mind, and with Jada, you never had to wonder where you stood. Beneath that spirited personality was a deeply caring heart and an unwavering love for her family. Those left to cherish Jada’s memory include her parents, Kent and Deronda Evens of Cloverdale; her husband, Bryan Mullins; her three beloved sons, Rick, Trent, and Zeke Mullins, all of New Castle; two brothers, Joshua (Athena) Gross of Crawfordsville and Jason Evens of Cloverdale; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Sproles Family Funeral Home, with Mike Parmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00–6:00 p.m on Thursday. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Bainbridge Cemetery in Bainbridge.
